What is a Girls Night In?
A Girls Night In involves getting together with a group of girls and donating what you would usually spend on a Girls Night Out to the Cancer Council. We like to theme our events and if you have a read through our blog you will see what themes we have used so far. Our event has grown so much that we now open it to the public...everyone is welcome!

In 2008, our theme was... "My Favourite Things". Think Oprah and the show where she showcases her favourite items and then gives them away...this is what we did!! All the ladies (35) brought along a $5 favourite thing of theirs (wrapped in brown paper packaging and tied up with string) and then we played a game where we each went home with something that the someone else had brought along.

Everyone brought a plate of their favourite food as well as the recipe.

We played games that gave us the chance to win raffle tickets to pop into boxes to win fabulous prizes.

We were visited by a fantastic bellydancer named Melanie who donated her time to entertain all the ladies and teach us some moves!

We gave away 12 fantastic prizes.

One of which was a pandora bracelet with pink ribbon charm...a favourite thing of both Kerrie and Mel!

We had a ball and raised $1200.

It's a Girls Games Night!

Our first Girls Night In event was held in 2007. We had 15 guests and raised just over $500. It was a terrific night based on a games theme and lots of fun was had as we played games and quizzes such as celebrity heads and more. Our major prize was donated by the Greenbank RSL. Pictures to come...
